As a part of the Indo- Danish Green Strategic Partnership, Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog (AIM) has collaborated with ICDK, Royal Danish Embassy in India, and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) to prepare the Indian participation for the Next Generation Digital Action program hosted by DTU in Denmark. The AIM-ICDK Water Innovation Challenge has successfully completed 3 editions and has launched the 4th edition this year.
The selected teams will form the Indian cohort which will participate in the global Next Generation Digital Action program and engage with young talents from leading universities and innovation hubs of 9 countries (India, Denmark, Ghana, Kenya, Korea, Tanzania, South Africa, Ghana, Colombia and Mexico).

The student journey focuses on Digital Action for Societal Impact, brought forward by external partners through sustainability challenges with a specific focus on digitization. The track offers a hybrid 3-week August course for students from Denmark and from partner universities around the world. Selected students will be facilitated to develop solutions to sustainability challenges by external partners that focus on digitalization and then invited to exhibit and pitch their ideas at the Digital Tech Summit in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Young Entrepreneurs track presents an exciting opportunity for Indian technology start-ups in the early stages to accelerate their ideas and form global partnerships. Successful participants will get the opportunity to take part in a combination of workshops, networking opportunities and access to experts. The programme’s focus is on equipping start-ups with tools, insights and relevant networks to prepare for a successful congress participation so as to showcase their entrepreneurial prowess. This entails providing support in developing a strategy for the congress, networking with potential investors and building relationships with important players in industry.
