Ashwinkumar Wasnik is a professional in the fields of energy, sustainability, climate action, innovation & entrepreneurship, bringing experience in developing impactful programs for various entities such as governments, corporations, foundations, and international organizations. In his current role at Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India, he manages large-scale programs and bridging the gap between government, industry, and academia. Previously, Ashwinkumar contributed to the credit appraisal of innovative projects ready for commercialization. His responsibilities encompassed assessing projects from technical, financial, and legal perspectives. He also served as an Incubation Manager, spearheading various programs for an incubation center and providing comprehensive support to entrepreneurs and startups at different stages, including ideation, scale-up, and marketing. Additionally, he worked in Center of Excellence of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC, Govt. of India), where he conducted evaluations and assessments of innovations related to climate change mitigation and/or adaptation in the SAARC region.
