My Achievements

My name is Aryan Singh. I hail from Kota in Rajasthan. I am studying in XI standard at SR Public Sr. Sec. School. I was introduced to innovations and their positive effects through my Atal Tinkering Lab. I have been participating in various innovation events conducted at my school. I have also won national and international awards in competitions. My innovation is for the farmers who are not able to buy costly machines that are used in the farm. Nowadays, a farmer needs animals, tractors etc. for the land. They use different types of machines to perform individual functions. My idea was to build smart and automatic agriculture robot which can perform different function like sowing of seed, digging the field, rolling on a field to makes soft, harvesting, and water pumping. This is simply controlled by a battery and the battery requires a simple charge by the sun (solar). The full machine can also be controlled by an Android phone if we want. No need to get such expensive machines in future. No animal will be needed. The farmer can sow any number of crops as per his wish and this machine will help in their farming and protect their fields. Plants will automatically get water by time through a smart irrigation system. Farmers cultivate at will and protect their fields without spending money; even if it costs money, it won't take much. These machines have been designed to perform autonomously within the rows in any farm. The harvester does not contact fruit. I have shared my prototype with my friends and family members and presented my project in front of our ATL Mentor, Mr. Aditya Sharma. The project was reviewed, and I have also implemented upgrades to it. My project has also received the (SKI) Young Scientist of India Award 2020, Russian Young Innovator Award 2021, Canada (Toronto) Young Innovator Award 2021.

Two-three years ago, I did not like making projects etc. But there was a competition called ATL App Innovation Challenge. My ATL teacher suggested me to take part in it, but I didn’t want to initially but when he motivated me to do something and try to solve the problem facing by the society, I was introduced to innovations and their positive effects through my Atal Tinkering Lab. He also told me right now is a good opportunity that you have ATL lab that you can easily do what you want and under the guidance of mentor and teacher then I realized, and I have participated in ATL App innovation challenge and won! Then I started trying to solve the problem facing by the society, farmers, and I started building an Agrobot smart and automatic agriculture robot which can perform different functions like sowing of seeds, digging the field, rolling on a field to makes soft, harvesting, aur water pumping.

I have won ATL App innovation Challenge 2020, Young Scientist of India Award 2020, Russian Young Innovator Award 2021 with Russian University Diploma, Canada (Toronto) Young Innovator Award (Silver Medal)2021. Also, been selected in ATL Tinkerpreneur (Top 100 Students) And ATL Tinkerpreneur Most Consistent Students. I was also invited as a Chief Guest in my school for flag hosting on 26th January 2021.

My lesson has been that good innovation can come when one is observant and compassionate towards the problems around oneself. I also understood the importance of sharing my project with others and getting feedback. This has helped to get the grant from the Government of India. I have used materials available at ATL Labs to make my initial prototype. I sought support from my ATL In Charge Mr. Om Prakash Soni. He helped me to take my project to next level. Now I am working to make it even better. Collaboration and seeking support are important for making innovations.
